Gozo & Comino

The island of Comino, a protected natural reserve that can be visited via the numerous boat ferry services around the MġarrHarbour area, can be seen from different panoramic viewpoints around Qala, including the site where L-Eremita hotel is situated.

All departure points to the island are close to Qala, and a few minutes away from the neighbouring harbour village of Mġarr.

Beaches

Gozo also has some of the cleanest and nicest beaches in the archipelago. In the locality of Qala itself, where L-Eremita is located, one finds one of the most popular beaches down at Ħondoq ir-Rummien. The beach is situated among hilly surroundings and rugged coastline that extend to Mġarr Harbour. It features a stunning creek and sea inlet, which is another popular bathing site and is a few metres away from the beach.

Ramla Bay at Nadur is the biggest and most popular beach site, both for swimming during the hot summer days and for strolls during fine wintry days.  One can also just lie idle and enjoy the rolling waves and the marvellous scenery.
